I hate a box

I have never fit especially well into one despite constantly being told who to be, what to want, and how to show up. Lucky for me, being Queer, Latinx, and naturally defiant (I am a Taurus) has shaped me to pay attention to the gap between how people are described when someone wants to sell to them and who they actually are. That’s why I do this.

Sometimes that means directing. Sometimes designing, strategizing, or writing. Whatever the work needs to move beyond superficial and closer to something really fucking cool.

My unconventional background

I’ve spent the last decade moving between hospitality, brand, design and tech, and each of those worlds has shaped the way I approach creative work. I believe the strongest projects come from staying curious, working collaboratively, and resisting the urge to force every problem into the same solution.

The expression may change, but the intention stays the same: to create thoughtful creative worlds that brings brands closer to the people they’re meant to serve.
